Shabbat Alarm does not collect, use, or share any personal data. The app works entirely on your device. Your alarms and any custom sounds you record stay in the app and are deleted when you delete the app.
Everything Shabbat Alarm stores stays on your iPhone in the app's sandbox—a private storage area that only the app can access. This includes:
When you delete Shabbat Alarm, all of this data is permanently deleted from your device.
Shabbat Alarm requests two permissions:
Notifications: Required to deliver alarms at the times you set. Alarms are delivered as time-sensitive local notifications so they can play even when a Focus mode is on. Notifications are scheduled entirely on your device; no notification server is involved.
Microphone: Used only if you choose to record a custom alarm sound. If you never record a sound, the microphone is never accessed. Recordings are saved locally on your device.

Shabbat Alarm is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Since the app collects no data at all, there is no special protection needed.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Effective date" at the top of this page.
